Cove School Bake Sale

Please break out those baking pans for our 1st Bake Sale of the new school year!

Items can be brought in Monday and dropped off in the PTO closet or anytime Tuesday (preferably morning/afternoon)

Grade 1: 254 laps = 31.75 miles
Grade 2: 428 laps = 53.5 miles
Grade 3: 111 laps = 13.9 miles
Grade 4: 107 laps = 13.6 miles
Grade 5: 80 laps = 10 miles
AIM: 18 laps = 2.2 miles

Total 1,087 laps! 
135.8 Miles!
That is the same distance from Beverly to Provincetown!

Fall Frolic 5K & Fun Run


Join the fun for the Fourth Annual Fall Frolic 5K & Fun Run event set for Sunday, October 6th. 

Time: 9:30
Place: The Traditional Homecoming Route Beginning and Ending at Lynch Park, 55 Ober Street

The half-mile Kids Fun Run begins at 9am and is open to all kids grade 5 & younger.  Entry fees for 5K- $20 before Sept 22nd and $25 after.

Beverly Bootstraps Backpack Drive


Beverly Citywide PTO is once again assisting in Beverly Bootstraps Backpack Drive.  Together, Beverly Bootstraps and the Citywide PTO distribute over 300 backpacks a year!

The Cove School Community has been asked to collect
GLUE STICKS, SCISSORS AND MARKERS.

There will be a collection box in the lobby, and you or your child can deposit any contributions in it.

2013 MomBall Food Drive to Benefit Beverly Bootstraps
Harry Ball Field - 410 Essex Street Beverly, MA Friday Sept 20 5pm-9pm
Saturday Sept 21 9am-9pm
Sunday Sept 22 10am-5pm

MomBall will be holding a food drive on September 20-22, 2013 during our softball tournament to benefit the Beverly Bootstraps Food Pantry. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and we encourage you to join this effort to help those in need.
Beverly Bootstraps Food Assistance Programs provide Beverly and Manchester-by-the Sea residents with access to food through a variety of programs.

You may donate any non‐perishable food during the drive, including . . .
  •   Canned tuna, fish, meat
  •   Peanut butter and jelly
  •   Soups, stews and “meals in a can”
  •   Canned fruits & vegetables
  •   Beans, rice, pasta, oatmeal, cereal
    Non-food items that are also in need...
    •   toothpaste
    •   shampoo
    •   toilet paper
    •   laundry detergent
    •   soap
    •   diapers (especially size 3 and larger)
    •   baby wipes
